About The Position
We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an electrical apprentice. The responsibilities include but not limited to performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, repairing machinery. To be successful you should have a strong working knowledge of electrical systems as well as the tools related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of these systems. High Character is at the Core of the Locke Supply Culture.
Requirements
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a D.O.T Physical and Drug Test
- Must be able to pass a post-offer, physical job duty test through WorkSTEPS.
- Overnight Travel (Up to 50% of working hours; average 2 overnights per week)
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and their inner workings.
- Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for commercial electrical installation and maintenance
Responsibilities
- Installation of commercial Electrical systems.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for electrical installation.
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order.
- Completing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and the associated equipment.
