About The Position

Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is hiring an Apprentice to support its roadway lighting team on a roadway lighting contract. This teaching electrical contractor offers company-paid IEC apprenticeship training and hands-on experience, with opportunities to pursue CDL, bucket truck, climbing, and other industry certifications. The role assists electricians with roadway lighting installation, maintenance, and repair work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Maryland Class C driver's license with no points.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

• Truck-driving experience.
• Some electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with roadway lighting repairs.
• Install and remove light poles.
• Install foundations, conduit, hand boxes, and wiring.
• Repair lighting outages.
• Follow Miss Utility regulations.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
