Automotive ADAS Calibration Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring a Calibration Technician Apprentice for a paid apprenticeship. The apprentice receives mentorship and training to learn to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations in accordance with original equipment manufacturer specifications and repair standards. Training is provided by Protech, with support from a virtual team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal is to progress to a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration role by the end of the seventh month. This is a hands-on role in a production shop. Mobile Calibration Technician Apprentices can earn up to $24.00 per hour. Pay is weekly, and the role is eligible for overtime.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policy.
- Pass pre-employment screenings, including background and motor vehicle record checks.
- Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
- Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.
