About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring a Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) – Body Apprentice to perform general duties that may include repairing damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-approved repair techniques. The apprentice is responsible for learning training materials and hands-on skills, and will follow a mentor’s direction while learning to read estimates, identify damage, repair vehicles, and check work for quality and accuracy.

The program requires no prior experience and provides paid training toward a career as a body technician. The position can make $17–$20 per hour, with earning potential of $70,000 or more per year after program completion.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities
