About The Position
The Artist Injector is NakedMD’s frontline clinician, delivering aesthetic treatments and representing the company’s standards of patient care. This is a full-time clinical role involving patient evaluation, injections, consultations, charting, and ongoing care. The injector is expected to take ownership of patient outcomes, build relationships, and provide precise, warm, and professional care. The role includes performing NakedMD aesthetic services such as neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, and medical-grade chemical peels. The clinician evaluates patients, develops personalized treatment plans, explains options, risks, benefits, and expected results, and supports follow-up and treatment scheduling. Patient safety, sterile technique, accurate documentation, and compliance with clinical protocols are central to the position. The injector also contributes to patient retention and clinic revenue through consultative recommendations, follow-up, and building a loyal patient base. The role offers an annualized salary range of $50–$60 per hour based on experience, with eligibility for a bonus.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license.
- Foundational proficiency in neurotoxins and hyaluronic acid fillers.
- Strong clinical foundations; motivated applicants new to aesthetics may be considered.
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and communicate clearly, warmly, and confidently with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to patient safety, sterile technique, clinical protocols, and detailed documentation.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience.
- Experience with microneedling and chemical peels.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations before treatments, including reviewing medical history, identifying contraindications, and creating personalized treatment plans.
- Consult with patients about their aesthetic concerns, goals, treatment options, expected results, risks, and benefits.
- Complete treatment plans from consultation through follow-up and assist with appointment scheduling and coordination of multi-step treatments.
- Perform aesthetic services including neurotoxins, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, and medical-grade chemical peels.
- Prepare injectables and treatment trays accurately and in accordance with sterile protocols.
- Stay current on aesthetic treatments, products, techniques, and industry trends.
- Inspect and maintain the injection room, decontaminate equipment, sanitize surfaces, and uphold hygiene and sterile-environment standards before, between, and after treatments.
- Follow protocols for contraindication screening, sterile technique, and post-treatment care.
- Immediately report adverse reactions, complications, or protocol deviations to the Clinical Manager.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient medical documentation, including charts, before-and-after photographs, and treatment records.
- Respect patient diversity and individual rights to care in clinical interactions and decisions.
- Monitor inventory as needed and report supply concerns to the Clinical Manager.
- Meet individual sales targets through consultative recommendations of treatments and retail products that serve patient goals.
- Build a loyal patient base through consistent results, proactive follow-up, and investment in long-term patient outcomes.
- Communicate treatment options, pricing, and product recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Acknowledge clinical mistakes openly and continuously develop clinical skills and industry knowledge.
