About The Position
The Cash Accountant prepares all monthly bank reconciliations and receivables reconciliations. The position enters and reviews journal entries for University departments. The position also assists with the annual financial statement process and other annual and quarterly reporting related to cash and receivables information.
Requirements
- Knowledge of banking practices and generally accepted accounting principles
- demonstrated analytical skills
- excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automated accounting systems and spreadsheet/word processing software (MS Office preferred), with a preference for experience in bank reconciliation procedures in a business environment.
