About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brakes.
• Must maintain a DOT medical certificate.
• Must continue to meet the defined MVR standards to remain qualified to drive a company commercial motor vehicle.
• Must successfully pass a background check every third year on the anniversary date.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasionally on short notice.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods, climb stairs, lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally, and perform heavy pushing and pulling of product.
• Ability to work in refrigerated conditions of 33–38 degrees, outdoor weather, and environments with exposure to loud machinery.

Nice To Haves

• One year of verifiable CMV driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk the yard to identify and document vehicle defects in the DVCR booklet.
• Communicate maintenance needs to the Transportation Manager daily.
• Obtain the tractor-trailer list from Transportation, record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours, and send the information to the lease company weekly.
• Ensure trailers carrying refrigerated products are at an adequate temperature.
• Ensure Warehouse Team Members have trailers available to unload and/or load.
• Assist with unloading trailers when necessary.
• Reposition tractor-trailers on the yard to and from docks.
• Follow Domino’s Chock, Safety Cone, and Dock Signal Light policy.
• Shuttle tractor-trailers to and from the logistics supplier.
• Take trailers to be washed and cleaned.
• Assist with backhauls.
• Assist Drivers on designated routes to unload products to Domino’s stores when assigned.
• Listen to and timely assist management and Drivers.
• Wear and follow Domino’s uniform standards.
• Attend scheduled safety, team, and training sessions.
• Follow local, state, federal, and Domino’s safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Attend classroom instruction facilitated by the Transportation Manager on safety policies, accident procedures, and other pertinent information.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain DVIR booklets.
• Comply with DOT log regulations.
• Remain accountable for the vehicle and product.
• Clock in and out using the timekeeping and People Net systems.
