About The Position

Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join the Personal Health Services Division, with a primary focus on Family Planning/Well Woman services. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive, client-centered reproductive health care. Key duties include performing physical assessments including sports/work physicals and limited acute care services, providing routine gynecological care including pelvic/breast exams and colposcopy services (training available), prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests within the scope of the clinic setting. The Nurse Practitioner will also contribute to the development of clinical protocols and procedures and provide patient education on a range of health topics, including pregnancy options counseling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent time management, and effective organizational and communication skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to diverse populations is essential.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License.
  • Must have an active and unencumbered license and be licensed as an APRN/NP to practice Nursing in the state of Kansas.
  • Experience in reproductive health (family planning, OB/GYN, or women’s health).
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Title X knowledge is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus and/or willingness to utilize interpreting services.
