Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years of experience in lending origination and credit analysis.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate assessments clearly and professionally.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with sophisticated UHNW clients and their advisors.
• Ability to develop creative and intelligent structures for sophisticated client transactions.
• Ability to balance revenue expectations with the firm's risk requirements and client interests.
• Detail orientation and exceptional analytical skills.
• Significant accounting and finance knowledge.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage Financial Advisor and client expectations.
• Ability to multitask.

• Private Banking Lending experience is a plus.
• Formal credit training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Lending Transactors in delivering the UHNW Lending product platform, including Tailored Lending, with a focus on life insurance as collateral and securities-based lending facilities.
• Pursue UHNW lending opportunities by evaluating borrowers, valuing underlying collateral, and determining whether opportunities align with approved UHNW Lending programs.
• Underwrite transactions by conducting appropriate due diligence and evaluating financial and non-financial information.
• Identify transaction risks and mitigants and propose structural protections and other terms and conditions to mitigate risk.
• Prepare or assist with credit memoranda covering transaction details and purpose, strengths, risks and mitigants, financial and collateral analysis, and other key terms and conditions supporting the SLT's recommendation.
• Draft and negotiate Bank Letters of Interest under the guidance of the SLT.
• Help manage transactions through final credit approval, documentation, closing, and initial funding, coordinating promptly with Credit Risk Management, Financial Advisors, Private Bankers, Loan Operations, Compliance, In-house Counsel, and other relevant parties.
• Meet with clients and prospects alongside SLTs to develop or enhance relationships and identify potential product opportunities.
• Meet with branch and complex teams alongside the SLT to increase product awareness and train front-end sales staff to identify potential product opportunities.
