The Pathway Gap Resource & Training Manager works within the Department of Community Engagement and Postsecondary Pathways (CEPP) at New Visions for Public Schools. The vision is that every young person in New York City can clearly see, navigate, and access best-fit career pathways, supported by shared civic infrastructure that helps the adults advising them guide the way. Reporting to the Associate Director of Pathway Gap, the Resource Manager plays a key role in the process of designing and sustaining the practitioner-facing infrastructure at the heart of the Pathway Gap Initiative—a cross-sector collaboration of more than 75 organizations designed to address the systemic challenges that make it difficult for youth-serving professionals to connect young people to postsecondary and workforce opportunities. The Pathway Gap Resource & Training Manager will be the key operational partner for the project's practitioner capacity-building work. In this role, they will hold primary responsibility for the educator navigational compass tool, which includes curating resources and providing guidance on how to use them, developing implementation trainings, managing user communications and feedback, and ensuring the tool stays accessible and continuously improves for practitioners. This role will serve as a bridge between program expertise and digital product development, partnering with New Visions' technical team to create and improve open-access websites for youth-serving professionals. Additionally, in collaboration with the Associate Director of Pathway Gap, they will serve as a key partner supporting the systems coordination work through collaboration, partnership and feedback.
