About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Tow Truck Operator License (Ontario) with clean driving record.
• Minimum 1–2 years of professional towing experience, preferably in automotive, collision repair, or roadside assistance.
• Experience operating flatbed and/or wheel‑lift tow trucks.
• Strong understanding of vehicle loading, securing, and transport safety procedures.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution‑focused in high‑pressure situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe, high‑quality work.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely tow, load, and transport vehicles using company‑provided tow trucks and equipment.
• Respond to accident scenes, breakdowns, and customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Operate flatbed and/or wheel‑lift tow trucks in accordance with provincial regulations and company safety standards.
• Secure vehicles properly using straps, chains, and safety devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Complete all required paperwork, tow slips, condition reports, and digital records accurately.
• Provide clear communication, support, and reassurance to customers during stressful situations.
• Follow all company safety procedures, provincial towing regulations, and traffic laws.
• Perform daily inspections, basic maintenance, and proper cleaning of tow trucks and equipment.
• Work closely with CSN staff, insurers, and external partners to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
