About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus 5 years of related work experience; or a degree or certification above high school/GED plus 3 years of related work experience; or 7 years of related work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1-3 years of experience driving a service/tow truck or front-end loader.
• Complete a pre-hire physical for a DOT medical card.
• Complete a DOT Driver Qualification file.
• Adhere to the Vehicle Use Policy.
• A 5 Panel Drug test may be required depending on the role.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and walk long distances.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
• Ability to lift 1-30 pounds.
• Close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship; OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, and visa sponsorship are not available.

• Front-end loader or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tow truck to provide towing services for customer vehicles on the MAA parking lot and at other locations as needed; use dollies when necessary.
• Operate a front-end loader to load and unload vehicles and move vehicles around the lot for auction shops.
• Properly attach the tow truck and front-end loader to vehicles, preventing damage and hazards during towing.
• Release vehicles from the tow truck and leave them safely and securely immobile.
• Transport vehicles safely and courteously to directed areas.
• Scan each towed vehicle using the TC75 and record the location where it was delivered.
• Assist employees and customers with towing and jump-starting vehicle batteries, by phone or in person, as requested.
• Assist with unlocking customer vehicles, jump-starting vehicles, or locating vehicles using Lot Vision, as appropriate.
• Tow vehicles to the Mechanic shop when requested.
• Move customer and employee vehicles parked incorrectly or unsafely to the customer lot, as requested.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the tow truck and front-end loader, including oil changes, lubrication, filter changes, and tire changes.
• Operate the truck and front-end loader in compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist lot operations and sale-day activities when not operating the tow truck.
• Follow safety and health procedures, model safe behaviors, and participate in activities supporting Safety Excellence.
• Run reports to move vehicles into the sale TRA area for auction.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
