About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree, or a master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
• Typically 5 or more years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance needed for employment.
• General expertise in an area of test engineering principles and practices, such as dynamics, thermal, measurement, HSI, software testing, or integration.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
• Experience planning, conducting, and documenting V&V activities.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques.
• General expertise with testing equipment, standards, and methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with engineering software tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or TestStand for testing and validation.
• Experience with environmental testing equipment such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, and data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex test plans, procedures, and reports to demonstrate compliance with system requirements.
• Apply test engineering principles and practices, including dynamics, thermal, measurement, HSI, software testing, and integration, to solve technical problems.
• Work with multidisciplinary design and development teams and provide guidance to less experienced engineers while independently developing testing approaches under general direction.
• Represent Test Engineering in requirements management, system design, and systems integration, and plan, conduct, and document V&V activities.
• Generate and disposition test-related product non-conformances while following quality assurance principles.
• Read and interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques to resolve testing issues.
• Use testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to support validation and ensure the quality of aerospace systems and components.
• Prepare and document technical data, reports, and analyses to support engineering initiatives and project decisions.
• Communicate technical information to team members, senior engineers, and stakeholders to support collaboration and project outcomes.
