About The Position
Our Respiratory Care Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire
- Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross Upon Hire
Responsibilities
- Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders.
- Participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians.
- Provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care.
- Assists with general department functions.
