About The Position

Requirements

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the radiology staff.
• Providing the first clinical point of contact for patients.
• Facilitating patient flow to minimize patient wait times and maximize the utilization of resources.
• Demonstrating competence with all imaging safety compliance initiatives.
• Serving as part of the imaging center team and seeking as well as providing feedback for improved clinical practice.
