About The Position
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for material systems and execution for a single business unit with multiple plants. Ability to travel 50% to support Adient JIT facilities is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- 6 years manufacturing experience.
Nice To Haves
- APICS Certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for material systems and processes for Supply Chain Management teams.
- Key measure performance, continuous improvement of processes and procedures, compliance to Materials Management Systems Assessment, execute formal systems, provide training and rollout of new material business process.
- Customer / supplier interaction as required.
- Initiates cost reduction analysis and executes actions to implement.
