About The Position

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Radiology Program.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize work assignments and set up imaging rooms and exam rooms.
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist with patient transfers to and from beds and wheelchairs, and position patients on applicable equipment.
• Help ensure patient comfort and follow ethical conduct and regulatory requirements.
• Transport patients between facility departments and verify transport mode and special care needs with Nursing.
• Communicate patients’ ongoing care needs to Nursing or the specialty area while patients are in transit.
• Keep wheelchairs available for use and clean them after each patient use and as needed.
• Complete weekly and as-needed equipment checks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Remove equipment from service and notify the appropriate area for repair.
• Prepare and submit work orders as needed.
• Stock supplies and put away new deliveries.
