About The Position

Henry Ford Health is seeking a second-year Radiology Technology student interested in cross-training in CT. The Student Radiology Tech supports registered radiologic technologists with routine diagnostic radiologic examinations and gains hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The role is based in the Radiology Department at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and contributes to patient-centered care and efficient diagnostic processes. Candidates must be available at least two days per week for approximately four to five hours after school or on weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a two-year college or technical school degree program in Radiology Technology.
• Must be a second-year Radiology student.
• Must be available a minimum of two days per week for approximately four to five hours after school or on weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered radiologic technologists in performing routine diagnostic radiologic examinations.
• Prepare patients for procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment in the radiology department.
• Support accurate documentation and record-keeping.
