About The Position

The Student Radiology Tech assists registered radiologic technologists in performing routine diagnostic radiologic examinations. The role supports the Radiology Department’s delivery of accurate and timely imaging services and contributes to smooth, efficient diagnostic processes and patient care. The position is in Henry Ford Health’s Radiology Department at its Warren campus, where the employee works alongside department professionals in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in a two-year college or technical school degree program in Radiology Technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered radiologic technologists in performing routine diagnostic radiologic examinations.
• Support patient preparation for procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Help maintain radiology department equipment and supplies.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging.
