About The Position

The Sports Analyst/Host (Temporary) will report for Portland Fire Pregame/Halftime/Postgame broadcasts, and other sports events when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • This position requires the employee to be able to drive for business needs. A valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR) are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to WNBA broadcasts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Covers local sporting events and analyzes performances
  • Appears on-air in studio and in live shots
  • Performs interviews/produces feature reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
