About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• LBS1 certified
• Experience in elementary education and/or a core content area in secondary education
• Passionate, patient, and committed to providing a meaningful and engaging classroom.

Responsibilities

• Engage students in 5:1 student to teacher groupings.
• Provide specialized, educational curriculum for students, ages 6 to 15, with moderate to severe learning disabilities and who have average to above average intelligence.
• Focus on the remediation of fundamental skills, the development of strategies to compensate for learning challenges and the use of appropriate accommodations.
• Play a vital role in our students' academic success.
