Requirements

  • Previous casual fine dining cooking experience
  • Knowledgeable and able to work on a kitchen hot line
  • Previous management experience
  • ServSafe
  • Able to work long hours and varied shifts
  • Food handling knowledge
  • Food costing and accountability
  • At least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent people skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knife handling skill
  • Able to train proper use of knives to less experience staff

Responsibilities

  • Treat your coworkers, kitchen, equipment and the food with respect
  • Maintain an open mind to learning new techniques and products
  • Look ahead at employees prep and ensure the station is set up for the next shift
  • Be receptive to direction from all F&B executive management
  • Keep yourself, your station, tools and kitchen clean and organized at all times
  • Be flexible and adapt to changes in duties and scheduling
  • Work with urgency and effectiveness in all tasks from the beginning to the end of the shift
  • Take ownership of your management role and strive to contribute beyond those responsibilities
  • Finish all job duties and check out with your manager before ending your shift
  • Execute a high-quality menu.
  • Learn, work, and train employees on any station required and execute all tasks and duties as described by the Chef.
  • Ensure employees’ work area is kept in a neat, clean, and orderly condition according to federal health policies and standards.
  • Adhere to the company’s mission, vision, and value statements.
  • Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies, and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety.
  • Understand specific responsibilities within these areas.
