Requirements

• Financial technical skills with regards to disability, life insurance, FMLA and municipal/state regulated leaves, and voluntary benefits.
• Strong technical underwriting and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate risk and interpret complex benefit programs.
• Ability to support project execution through effective planning, coordination, and timely delivery of assigned workstream components.
• Solid organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Applies professional principles and sound business judgment to support the development and refinement of processes, procedures, and solutions.
• Contributes to the adoption of best practices by consistently applying established processes, tools, and methodologies to support quality and efficiency.
• Understanding of industry trends, data analysis, and evolving market dynamics impacting underwriting and benefit programs.
• Project Management, Benefits Administration, Consulting, Data Analysis, Data Management, Meeting Facilitation.
• 10+ years in underwriting Absence, Life & Disability.

Responsibilities

• Leading large complex clients and presenting analysis in a client-facing role.
• Training and development of the offshore COE team.
• Following a formal peer review process to drive the financial strategy for clients.
• Strategy development and cost modeling to ensure clients remain compliant and competitive in the marketplace.
• Collaborating with colleagues with different backgrounds and skillsets to deliver for clients.
