About The Position

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI (FSP) security clearance before starting.
• At least 12 years of professional software programming experience.
• At least 3 years of recent, hands-on Python coding experience.
• Experience developing in Linux-based operating system environments.
• Experience developing Node.js applications and creating or consuming secure, fully audited API endpoints.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/PostgreSQL databases, including complex, high-performance queries.
• Practical experience managing, indexing, and retrieving data with Elasticsearch.

Nice To Haves

• Experience deploying or managing containerized workloads with Docker and AWS EKS (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to AI frameworks, large language models, or Amazon Bedrock integration for intelligent automation.
• Experience with Git/GitLab, automated unit and integration testing pipelines, and Jenkins CI/CD integration.
• Basic understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mission requirements and design, architect, and develop resilient software components and full-stack solutions.
• Research complex software concepts, build rapid prototypes, and demonstrate proof-of-concepts to mission stakeholders and Intelligence Community leadership.
• Create, secure, and integrate API endpoints using Node.js and Python to support authenticated and audited data exchange between teams.
• Work with SQL/PostgreSQL databases, write complex relational queries, and optimize search and retrieval using Elasticsearch.
• Support migration to EKS Kubernetes container clusters and investigate and integrate AI capabilities such as Amazon Bedrock into core workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, address project dependencies, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
