About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications and services. The role requires hands-on experience with Angular and JavaScript, Azure cloud services, databases, and event-driven architecture. The engineer will contribute to modern distributed systems, build secure and reliable APIs, and use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity. Depending on the project, some positions may also require Python and Databricks experience.

The engineer will develop responsive front-end applications, containerize and deploy applications to Azure Container Apps, maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers. The role also involves participating in team delivery practices, troubleshooting production issues, and monitoring application performance.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with Angular and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience deploying and running applications on Azure Container Apps or comparable container-based platforms.
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD.
• Working experience with AI-assisted developer tools and a practical understanding of how to use them responsibly and effectively.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• 3–8 years of industry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx or other state management approaches.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization best practices.
• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Container Registry, Azure Monitor, or Application Insights.
• Understanding of web security, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular and JavaScript.
• Build reusable components and write clean, testable, well-documented code.
• Containerize and deploy applications to Azure Container Apps, and help manage configuration, scaling, and environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Manage source control workflows in GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Use AI-assisted developer tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development, improve test coverage, and streamline debugging and refactoring.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and monitor application performance.
• Collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers to translate requirements into polished features.
