As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. This is an armed driving position.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications-related utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and following applicable armed post procedures.
