About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordination Driver at a chemical and petrochemical location in Freeport, Texas, you will monitor communications and access activity, coordinate security-related responses, and support officers in the field. This driving post helps maintain a secure environment through clear communication, detailed reporting, and customer service. The role is part-time, with shifts Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The pay rate is $21.63 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least one year of security-related experience.
TSA-issued TWIC.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

State-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities.
Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch routine and urgent calls for service to appropriate personnel, emergency responders, and site resources.
Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and access-related activity; maintain accurate incident logs, dispatch records, and shift reports.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and notification procedures.
Coordinate with site personnel and responding agencies during emergencies, outages, hazardous-material-related events, and other operational disruptions.
