Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response Driver
About The Position
The Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response Driver serves and safeguards clients at a logistics and distribution location in Grenada, Mississippi. This full-time driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The officer conducts routine and random unarmed patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitors access, responds to incidents and alarms, and provides customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and contractors. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activity through clear and accurate reports.
