About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare location in Garfield Heights, Ohio. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility by conducting unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting visitor management, and responding to security concerns and emergencies. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and following site-specific procedures and protocols. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay is $16.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations according to site protocols, contacting appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
Monitor access points and support visitor management, including directing guests and answering access-related questions.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
