About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while responding to security concerns. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The role may provide access to additional shifts through Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, and communicate relevant information to site personnel or first responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; document observations and report security concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, patient transport routes, and compliance with site access procedures.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
