About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard a residential community in Salinas, California. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role includes responding professionally to security concerns and providing customer service. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, at a pay rate of $20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and property activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
