Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Dispatch
About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Driver Dispatch Security Officer at a busy retail location in Friendswood, Texas, you will help safeguard clients, customers, and employees by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible, welcoming presence. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. You will provide customer service and clear communication while demonstrating the company’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The position is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Part-time officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
- Assist with access control, customer and visitor directions, and other security-related support needs while maintaining a professional presence.
