About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Equipment Checks in Miami, TX, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. This unarmed driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role calls for exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s values.

This is a part-time position paying $19.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Thursday and Friday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM. Officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, construction-adjacent spaces, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor site access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and conduct shift handoffs according to company and site requirements.
