About The Position

As a Security Officer Building Checks in Saint Peters, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol the site, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, trailer and vehicle parking areas, loading docks, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
