About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Access Point Checks in Marietta, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will help maintain a secure environment by managing site access, verifying credentials, monitoring alarm activity, conducting routine patrols, and providing professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full-time and pays $18.38 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established site protocols, and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations through required logs and reports.
