About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Point Operations in Earth City, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, provide customer service, and communicate clearly while helping deter incidents.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
Control the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and shipments in accordance with established procedures to help deter unauthorized access.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; document and report observations according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
