About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer serving as an Access Point Driver at a commercial real estate location in Lebanon, Indiana, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue and collect access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
Control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established security-related procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
