About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer conducting building checks in South Bend, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics-focused location. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, conduct routine rounds and patrols, report security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. Work is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.20 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
Conduct routine rounds and report security-related concerns.
