About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Door Checks in Mesa, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a high-tech industrial location, including a high-availability data center. You will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role is full-time and scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a high-availability data center by following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support visitor and contractor entry processes in accordance with data center protocols.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, access areas, and operational spaces to identify and report irregularities.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and relevant stakeholders.
