About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location in San Bernardino, California, you will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and professionally respond to security-related concerns. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $21.49 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or public agency representatives as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
