About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Perimeter Checks in Goodyear, Arizona, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, and communicate professionally while documenting security-related activity. The position is full-time and pays $20.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, including building areas, parking locations, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver activity, and following entry procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, access activity, and other security-related concerns.
