About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a retail location in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard clients and visitors by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a welcoming retail environment. The role is scheduled Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and pays $20.35 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, common areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for policy violations, suspicious behavior, or other security concerns; report findings as directed.
Provide directions and maintain a professional presence to support a welcoming luxury retail environment.
Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal leadership on security-related matters.
