About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting in Mountain View, California, you will serve and safeguard clients, including patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. You will conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking locations, and the perimeter, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role involves customer service, monitoring access points and visitor activity, responding professionally to concerns and emergencies, and documenting patrol activities and incidents. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $33.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
