About The Position

As a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location in Greensboro, North Carolina, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally while supporting a welcoming environment. The role follows a Friday and Saturday overnight schedule, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $17.00 per hour. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and other site-specific requests.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
