About The Position

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Driver Entry Control in Findlay, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while supporting site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full-time and pays $17.51 per hour, with weekly pay. The posted schedule includes overnight and daytime shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas according to site requirements, escalating unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and communicate observations through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and facility grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
