Security Officer Entry Control Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Conway Springs, Kansas, you will help safeguard clients at a construction-related location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming, secure environment. The role includes customer service, clear communication with visitors and team members, and responding to security-related concerns. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The position is part-time and pays $19.00 per hour. The stated schedule is Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 for armed roles. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.
Requirements

- A valid driver’s license, as required for driving positions and in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, taking part in emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry requirements to personnel and visitors.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
