About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Entry Control in Blountsville, Alabama, at a food and beverage location. The officer helps provide a welcoming, secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and drivers. The role involves following security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, conducting facility patrols, and reporting unusual activity. The pay rate is $15.91 per hour. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access-control records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds.
Help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, damaged access equipment, or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
