About The Position
As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Oakland, Iowa, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. This driving position calls for strong customer service and communication while supporting daily operations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control facility access by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and recover visitor credentials as directed, and report access irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized access.
