About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Henderson, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. The position is part-time and pays $14.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when assigned, and report access-control irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation according to site-specific requirements.
