About The Position

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Former police officer with a minimum of 12 years of law enforcement experience.
• Valid and active LEOSA credential that is not nearing expiration.
• Military experience is not accepted unless the candidate served as Military Police with at least 12 years of active service.
• Must pass background checks, an MVR check, a social media check, and a drug screening.
• Valid driver's license for occasions when driving a company vehicle is needed.
• Own and use a 9mm caliber weapon and holster.
• Have a secondary weapon: OC, baton, or handcuffs.
• Ability to stand and walk for more than eight hours.
• Ability to follow the grooming policy and wear plain-clothes business-casual attire.
• CCTV camera monitoring experience.
• Experience using email and technology including smartphones, Outlook, and Microsoft tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to cover call-offs, leaves of absence, and emergency open posts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct indoor foot patrols and cover static or standing posts included in patrol routes.
• Assess and mitigate threats.
• Use de-escalation skills.
• Respond to incidents and write incident reports.
• Perform standard security functions as needed.
• Provide an armed presence and general supervision of the security team.
• Monitor CCTV cameras.
