About The Position

The SAP Application Security Consultant performs user management functions, including creating, changing, and assigning user roles, as well as activities such as User Access Reviews, user management audit requests, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) risk assessments. The role leads and participates in the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of User Access Management and analyzes, designs, develops, and tests Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) security components. The consultant provides user provisioning and role design, development, and testing in accordance with SoD protocols and security requirements. They assess client-specific security needs and propose solutions that may extend beyond standard SAP security, such as attribute-based access control (ABAC) and Information Assurance. The role also includes budgeting, staffing, forecasting, work planning, and managing, mentoring, and training junior team members.

Requirements

At least 4 years of SAP Application Security experience.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in User Access Management design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance.
Analyze, design, develop, and test Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) security components.
Provide user provisioning and role design, development, and testing in accordance with SoD protocols and security requirements.
Assess client-specific security requirements and propose potential solutions beyond standard SAP security, such as ABAC-based controls and Information Assurance.
Perform user management activities, including role creation, changes and assignments, User Access Reviews, UM audit requests, and SoD risk assessments.
Handle budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning.
Manage, mentor, and train junior team members.
